Door Panels & Parts: Interior Access and Aesthetics
Why pay inflated prices elsewhere for authentic OEM parts when Nissan 24 offers competitive rates? Door panels cover the internal mechanisms of your doors while providing access to window controls, speakers, and storage compartments. These interior components protect door hardware from damage while contributing to your cabin's overall appearance. Door panels include armrests, trim pieces, speaker grilles, and mounting clips that secure everything in place. Damaged door panels detract from interior quality and can interfere with proper door operation.
What Door Panels Contain
Door panels attach to the metal door frame using clips, screws, and fasteners. They conceal window regulators, lock mechanisms, and wiring that runs through the door cavity. The panel surface includes armrests for passenger comfort and control switches for windows and locks. Speaker openings allow sound to pass through while protecting audio components. Storage pockets provide convenient places for small items. The panel edges seal against weatherstripping to reduce wind noise and water intrusion. Interior door handles mount to the panel for easy operation. These components work together with interior accessories to create a comfortable and functional cabin environment.
How Door Panels Get Damaged
Rough handling breaks mounting clips during removal or installation attempts. The armrest area cracks from repeated stress and impact over years of use. Speaker grilles break when items pushed into storage pockets press against them. Moisture intrusion causes warping and staining on lower panel sections. Sun exposure fades colors unevenly across the panel surface. Children kicking the panels from rear seats creates dents and scuff marks. The Sentra and Altima commonly need door panel attention when mounting clips break during service work or when wear from daily use damages armrests and trim pieces.
Factory Panels Fit Correctly
Aftermarket door panels rarely match the texture and color of your existing interior. Generic versions use cheaper materials that feel different to the touch. The mounting points on budget replacements often don't align with factory locations. Genuine Nissan door panels match your interior exactly in color, texture, and finish quality. The materials resist fading and wear better than substitutes. All factory features including storage pockets and speaker grilles come integrated properly. Customers can order with confidence because of Nissan 24's friendly customer service and easy return policy.
